Susan's last day overseas

Well, Susan will be coming back to us (God willing) tomorrow.  She spent her last day in Ireland doing community service:  delivering meals to the elderly, visiting the sick in the hospital, and doing some good old manual labor.  I think it is a fitting way to end her trip to recognize how fortunate she was in being able to take such a journey.

She called yesterday.  She was staying at a host home and she sounded pretty tired.  She had a cold and was congested.  I don't know if that will make it difficult to go to the hospital.  We shall see.

Flights seem to be coming into Cedar Rapids.  That is where she will be flying in.  Her flight doesn't get in until 10:30 pm, though.  I plan to take my mom up to Iowa City to do some shopping and sight-seeing.  It should be a fun afternoon and evening!

Again, many thanks to all of you who helped make this trip for Susan possible.  I can't wait to report some fun facts.  Maybe I'll even let her post on my blog to give her own perspective.  After she gets over her jet lag!
