Susan's Journey Continues

Susan finished exploring Warwick Castle today.  An interesting fact is the in 1068, William the Conqueror fortified this site, overlooking the Avon River.  She will see the dungeon, torture chambers (and she thinks I discipline her too harshly!), and armory of the castle.

Then she's off to North Wales for a leadership skills training session...this shouldn't be too hard for her.  She likes telling everyone what to do!

Tomorrow will be her final leg in her Western Europe journey.  She will be visiting Ireland.  She will be repelling down a tower wall at Penrhyn Castle that is 70 feet tall!  I'm glad it is her and not me.  She will also visit a village that boasts one of the world's  longest station names:
      Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwylllantysiliogogogoch!
She will then be going to Holyhead to board the ferry and cross the Irish Sea to Dublin.

I'm really anxious to see my eldest daughter.  She will be returning this Thursday, hopefully with a bright, cheery smile on her face!
