The London Eye
We're having problems with our internet connection. Hopefully it will be fixed tomorrow, sorry not keeping a good account of Susan's travels but it's out of my control.
Today, Susan was to ride the London Eye, the world's largest ferris wheel. It is 443 feet high and gives a wonderful panoramic view of London.
She was also to go through Covent Garden which has many shops and cafés.
Susan was really looking forward to her time in England so I am anxious to hear from her how she has liked it so far. I think she has romantic ideals about England because of the many movies she has seen that have "taken place" in the UK. Before she left for her trip she said she wanted to pick up brochures about colleges that are available in England to possibly study abroad. I laughed at the brochures idea. If you know Susan you also know that she picks up pamphlets and brochures wherever we travel. She is a collector of many brochures. Gotta love her!
I think I broke my little toe today at the pool. Martin walked in front of me and I hit my toe on the back of his heel. It really hurts and is turning a nice shade of purple. Why me? Grace is not my middle name. I'm sure I gave someone a good laugh at the pool today.

My daughter, whose middle name IS Grace, managed to fall flat on her face while walking down the road with me the other day. She has so many cuts and bruises on her legs right now that I was almost afraid to take her to swim class last week for fear of being accused of child abuse.
I should have known better than to give my progeny a name like "Grace" to live up to.
Hope your toe heals quickly. Ouch!
